Qaigitsi!

The "Qaigitsi! Health Careers Rock!" project is a searchable database of health-related programs that are available in some colleges and universities in Canada. Most of the post-secondary schools listed in this database are ones that are located in 'gateway communities' for Inuit, such as Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal, and others.

Students, guidance counsellors, educators, employment counsellors, and others can use "Qaigitsi! Health Careers Rock!" to learn more about the types of health-related programs that exist, which college or universities offer these programs, and find information about the school's student support groups, Aboriginal student centres, housing options, and awards and bursaries.

You can search on any or all of the following fields:

  • Field/Discipline - for example, nursing, counselling, physiotherapy.
  • Program - for example, certificate, diploma, graduate degree.
  • Colleges and Universities - select the university or college from those listed in the drop-down menu.
  • Search terms - for example, dentistry, to search across all fields in the database.
