Journal of Aboriginal Health

Call for Abstracts

The Journal of Aboriginal Health (JAH) is the only peer-reviewed journal in the world focusing on the health of First Nations, Inuit and Métis in Canada. Since its inception in 2004, it has become one of the pre-eminent journals in Canada on the health of Aboriginal Peoples.

Successful submission will result in an invitation to submit an original, unpublished paper for a blind peer review by both academic and community reviewers. Papers submitted must conform to the JAH’s writing, terminology and style guidelines. Any papers submitted that do not adhere to these guidelines will automatically be rejected. Copies of the guidelines can be found here.

The JAH is a publication of the National Aboriginal Health Organization (NAHO). Incorporated in 2000, NAHO works to influence and advance the health and well-being of all Aboriginal Peoples in Canada by engaging in knowledge-based activities, including research, knowledge translation and community involvement.
