National Conference Banquet

The 2009 NAHO Our People, Our Health banquet on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 in the International Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza Hotel promises to be an entertaining evening filled with traditional First Nations, Inuit and Métis performances, and plenty of star-power.

Beginning at 6:00 p.m. Chef David Wolfman, star of the APTN TV show Cooking with the Wolfman, will heat things up by giving audience members an up-close-and-personal demonstration of what it’s like to be in the kitchen with the Wolfman. He will provide a 45 minute cooking demonstration followed by a brief question and answer period with the audience.

The Banquet dinner will follow, and will be a re-creation of the meal Chef Wolfman prepared.

In 2007, she was chosen as one of fifty Canadian artists to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Canada Council for the Arts, performing at the Governor General's Gala. She has toured extensively through Canada, Europe and the United States earning rave reviews wherever she travels.
