Job Description :

The Weeneebayko Area Health Authority is seeking candidates for the position of full time REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE for the Inpatient Department at the Weeneebayko General Hospital. Under the supervision of the Manager – Inpatient Services, you will provide primary nursing services to clients in need of health, wellness and rehabilitative services. This is an internal and external competition.

Qualifications:
• Current registration and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Mandatory certification in CPR; and other in-services as offered by WGH
• Experience as an RPN in an acute care setting and in dispensing medication
• Must be reliable and sensitive to the cultural needs of the client
• English is essential for this position
• Ability to communicate in the local native Cree language an asset
