Northlands College, a government funded Regional College serving northern Saskatchewan is seeking a Learning Centre Instructor/Facilitator in Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan from February 21, 2012 to June 28, 2012 for 85 instructional days.

The Learning Centre Instructor/Facilitator will be responsible to provide a combination of Adult education instruction and facilitation assisted by PLATO. The majority of the work will be tutoring adult students at ALL Grade levels. Hours will be 30 hours per week with some evening sessions included. .

The minimum qualifications for this position are a Bachelor of Education, with a combination of relevant training and experience. Proficiency in Grade 12 Math and English Language Arts is required. Successful teaching experience in adult education with learning disabled, ESL and/or risk students is a definite asset. Creativity, problem solving skills, interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work as a team member are desirable character traits for this position..

Salary: As per Collective Agreement
